Popup Calendar 1.2 - DHTML Lab | 6

Pop-up Calendar 1.2
The Future of dlcalendar.js
New Features
Future versions of the DHTML Lab Popup Calendar will include the ability to separately style today's date, to specify "holiday" dates other than weekends, and to create permanently visible in-page calendars.
Browser Support
The DHTML Lab Popup Calendar will support more platforms and browsers, with a view to including all DHTML browsers. The exceptions will be Netscape 4.x and Internet Explorer 4.x.
User Input Validation
We will include routines to validate manual user date input, if the calendar instance is bound to a input form element(s).
Exposure of Calendar Object Methods...
...for seasoned JavaScript programmers. Expanding the script in this way will facilitate its use in larger, more complex JavaScript web applications.
Code Discussion
Finally, we will come back to the script and provide the requisite line-by-line discussion, for those of you who want to know how it all works.
Until we do that, however, you can peruse the complete external script ( dlcalendar.js ) on the next page.
