Frameset Parameters
Frame Use (isFrames): Will the menus be used in frames? Click the radio buttons or the text labels next to them: No Yes
Name of Main Frame (mainFrName): This is the value of the NAME= attribute of the frame in which your menus will appear. It is recommended that this frame be called main. (i.e. <FRAME NAME="main"...>) Note: This parameter will only be referenced, if isFrames (above) is true.
Navigation Frame Position (navFrLoc): The navigation frame contains the links that show the menus. This frame can be, of course, in one of four positions: left, top, bottom or right. The images below illustrate these positions. Click on the appropriate image or select from the list. Note: This parameter will only be referenced, if isFrames (above) is true. lefttopbottomright
The text area below contains the parameters set in this browser session. You may copy them to your system's clipboard and paste into your HTML editor.
The parameter creation is complete. On the final page, we will add the overhead script statements, so it is recommended that you do not copy and paste at this time. The parameters will be carried over. Copy and paste on the next page.
To place the parameters in our HTML page, we need a bit of...er...HTML, and a few script statements.
