What is ActiveX? What does it have to do with JavaScript? And why am I of all people endorsing it? All these questions and more will be answered through two tips: A Simple ActiveX Popup Menu and a Relational ActiveX Popup Menu. I strongly recommend reading the Simple Popup Menu tip before any of the others, as it explains the fundamentals of working with ActiveX controls.
Note: This tip will not function properly with IE 3.0 beta 1 for the Mac because it does not support scripting (beta 2 will). Even with the NCompass plug-in, Netscape still runs into a lot of errors with these scripts.
