A Final Word

In this column we continued our series on JScript .NET. We covered here the major additions in JScript .NET, compared to JavaScript. JScript .NET includes features from ECMAScript Edition 3 (JavaScript), ECMAScript Edition 4, and other features that are non-ECMAScript. We showed you five major capabilities that are found in most major programming languages: data types, const, enum, print, and class.

This column uncovered just the tip of the iceberg. We'll cover some of these subjects in greater detail in one of our next columns. We'll also extend our coverage to other subjects that are of interest to JScript .NET programmers.
