Compiling the add Consumer's Code Behind

The communication between the Code Behind and the ASP.NET page is through a binary dll that includes the compiled definition of the relevant class. In our case, the namespace is ASPPlus and the class is codeBehind. The compilation of Code Behind is straighforward:

jsc /t:library /out:bin\codebehind.dll /r:bin\calcProxy.dll 
  simpleCalcConsumerForm.aspx.js

The /r: switch makes sure the add Web service namespace is under the bin directory. It is needed to satisfy the import calcService directive. The binaries are going to the codebehind dll file. The following Command Prompt window shows the Code Behind and the response of the compiler:
