A Final Word

In this column we started showing you how to write another DOM-based application, the Snakes game. We showed you the architecture of the game and the relationship between the game pieces and the DOM tree. We drew the board game and explained its content. We introduced the global variables section of the code and gave you a taste of its algorithm. We went over the main script and correlated each line of code to the game's flow. In the next column we'll go over the other portions of the code, namely all its functions that are not described here. We'll learn how to code the player-program interaction.
