A Final Word

In this columm we introduced streaming media and one of its players, the Windows Media Player. We showed you how to embed it in your Web page and how to call it as an external tool. We presented our streaming media jukebox and explained how each button works and how we play the selected file. We focused on controlling the player with JavaScript as well as modifying its properties. We also gave a brief overview of the ASF and ASX file formats that the Windows Media Player knows how to play.
