A Final Word

In this column we showed you the basics of using filters. You can start using them to enhance your Web page's look and feel and interactive content. You learned which objects can use filters and what the minimum requirements are for this application to work successfully on these objects. We demonstrated how multiple filters affect the final outcome, and that the order of their application does make a difference. We explained how to script filters, using their methods and properties. We have also included an example that shows how to add a filter on the fly. We proved that using the style's filter property is another way to manipulate filters.
