 Internet Explorer 6 improves several capabilites that were introduced in either IE5 or IE 5.5:
  • Behaviors. First introduced in IE 5. They allow you to separate content from script. Element behaviors were introduced in IE 5.5. IE 6 improves behavior's performance.
  • XML. IE 6 includes support of MSXML 3.0, providing better performance and up-to-date XML standards.
  • CSS Level 1. IE 6 provides full support for CSS Level 1.
  • Print Quality. Print Preview was introduced in IE 5.5. In IE 6, the printing model has been improved.
  • Multimedia. IE 6 supports a new version of HTML+TIME.
