HeaderFooter behavior converts header and footer formatting strings from the Page Setup dialog box into HTML code. Instead of setting them through the Page Setup dialog box, you can also set these formatting strings by setting the textHead and textFoot properties of a HeaderFooter element located on a print template. You can obtain these formatting strings from the header and footer properties of a TEMPLATEPRINTER element.
The HeaderFooter behavior generates two formatted HTMLs that you need to instantiate in the pages (DEVICERECTs) of your print template. You can retrieve these HTMLs from the htmlHead and htmlFoot properties of the HeaderFooter behavior. To learn more about print templates, read Column 89 (Print Templates, Part I), Column 91 (Print Templates, Part II: TemplatePrinter), and Column 92 (Print Templates, Part III: HeaderFooter.) Download the Microsoft print template loader.
