Java programmers are up in arms over the release last week of Mac OS X 10.5, or Leopard. Some say this is the last straw. Apple shipped Leopard with an old version of the Java Virtual Machine, and a beta version of Java SE 6 was recently pulled from the Apple developer site with no explanation.
