SIGHTINGS AROUND THE WEB: FactCheck.org

This Web site is a "nonpartisan, nonprofit, 'consumer advocate' for voters that aims to reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics." It monitors "the factual accuracy of what is said by major U.S. political players in the form of TV ads, debates, speeches, interviews, and news releases." It's a pretty good site to check all information coming forth in this year's presidential election. There are also other types of facts, for instance: Did you know that "John F. Kennedy was the last president to have moved directly from Congress to the White House?" Get the facts!
