allowed only 7 letters on their plates; hence the new plate: NY SNIPE.

This plate is actually TZOCOM, but I cut out a little piece of electrical tape, and stuck the 'DOT' on the front and rear plates. I figured this would be smarter than permanent marker, so if it is illegal to put the "DOT" on there, I can take if off with ease. This is rare, since not may folks have a three
letter domain name to put on their license plate."

About the owner: I'm an Independent Technology Solutions Provider for Handtech. I came up with PCsByBob.com when I was trying to create a catchy, easily remembered url that I could put on a door magnet to advertise my business. Now drivers can see my domain name from the back and sides as they pass me. Obeying the speed limit may actually be profitable for me. :)

Management System. Jim says non-programmers think his plate stands for "Java Animal" so he went along with it and wrote it on the plate's frame.
"People think I'm some sort of coffee-drinking animal," says Jim. This is not completely untrue, since Jim says he does drink "too much" coffee, and his nickname is really "Animal" -
although Jim prefers to use O'Reilly's
slogan saying he's "a different kind of Animal."

When I bought the car, I had originally thought that I would get WWWDZNR or WEBDZNR, to go along with a chrome frame I had made for my Wed
design/development startup. DMV gave me a plate that had SRC in it, and it
just clicked! I had been writing that damn code for months!! It only made
sense. Honk if you see me..not many people get it!

development firm is based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. INTRNET
was actually a second choice of names. Due to the seven letter limit, our business name, WEBsight Design, wouldn't fit on a license plate. But, to my surprise, the INTRNET moniker hadn't been taken. I wish I had that kind of luck with available domain names! |

Am I your first Canadian? My current plate is NET GUY, but I don't yet have a photo. Here is my 1996 plate; I SYSOP, which is an old modem/BBS term not much used anymore. I used to SYSOP a BBS for over 10 years in the days before the Internet. Its amazing how many different ways there are to
pronounce SYSOP when you don't own a computer (grin).

The inspiration for the plates is my Internet software
company, RJL Software. I founded the company in 1996
and it has been extremely successful over the years.
I finally indulged myself and purchased a CEO's car,
the BMW. I wanted to advertise to other drivers that
you can make money on the Web (and that I'm a geek)
so I put WWW RJL on my plates.
