(WESTPORT, CT--November 13, 1997)--Jupitermedia Corp. (Nasdaq: MECK) has acquired the well-known Web Developer sites WebReference.com and CoolCentral.com from Athenia Associates. These sites will be added to the operations of Internet.com, Mecklermedia's online publishing division. Terms were not disclosed.

WebReference.com bolster's Internet.com's developer-oriented information that is offered on its WebDeveloper.com and Java Boutique sites.
WebReference.com and CoolCentral.com founders Andy King and Bob Peyser have joined the staff of Internet.com as a result of the acquisition.
