The `dynamictextApp` applet was written by Nick Heinle. Documentation, including much more dynamic uses of the applet with Live Connect, can be found in the JavaScript Tip of the Week Repository here at WebReference.

The applet above displays a message sent to it from JavaScript. If you are using IE for Macintosh, you will not see it as there is no Java-JavaScript communication in IEMac. The persistence problem is still visible, however.
